unlimited testing for verizon and cingular
i just read that cingular has unlimited texting to anyware for $20 for single of family plans. that beats $30 for the family plan on verizon

It's $20 per line on Cingular. Verizon offers it as a group feature to all members of a share plan for $30.
That's five phones on Verizon for $30, compared to five phones on Cingular for $100.

AMEN TO THAT!!! Alltel is half the reason the other half of the stores in the company I work for are doing so well! They are practically tossing their customers on our doorsteps. We love Alltel right now for that! Thanks ALLTEL!!

Can anyone confirm - is this for sure going to happen? I read the article that Verizon was considering purchasing Alltel, but at that point it was not a definite decision. But if this is definitely going to happen, that's awesome! Also, if you do have any links to any of this story, please post it.

well lets put it this way i work for solectron we are the techs in the verizon stores, and from what i am hearing from our company is that we are expanding and going to be hiring alot of people to fill the stores that are going to be aquired in the process of verizon taking over alltel. so that pretty much says whats going to happen
