Show and tell

TK-421Wireless

Well we can't show but we can tell.

What phone are you Fired Up about?

I currently own the LG 8300, G'zOne, and the
Samsung U740...I like all of them for different reason. I like verizon and I'm a long time customer, since Air Touch. My next phone purchase will be the G'zOne Type-S, and I'm still waiting for a smart phone that worth me plopping down 45 bucks on. Just a happy thread to talk about phones!!

On side note

It appears that 99999 is know longer working , I did some research and it seems that 22222 is the new working number for now.

Really? Yours locks up? Either you have a lot of heavy programs running or your have a defective one. The processor is bigger than the one in my computer I'm pretty sure.

It only locks up when I tether it and have several things running. I usually have an open aim session going, along with mp3's playing int he backround and sometimes have pocket IE open...doesnt lock up much really actually...i just choose to reboot it here and there

I have an MP3 player so I don't think I would ever use my i730 as a music player. Maybe as a video player though.

Oh yeah...i use my extended batter and listen to mp3's and browse/aim all day at work. Battery lasts me 10 hours of consistent non stop use...and when it runs out i pop it in the charger and put the basic battery in for another solid 6 hours of use..

Love this phone

I'm kind of wary of trying new things with a brand new phone. Will pulling the battery hard reset it?

Shouldnt need to really ever hard reset it, but yes I believe it does do that.

There is a little hole on the bottom of the phone you can just poke your styli into and it will reset the phone

Yeah I know. The way it worked for my Treo was the reset hole behind the battery cover would soft reset and pulling the battery would hard reset, causing data loss. I like the idea of it coming with 2 batteries (since the thing is a battery hog) but I don't want to have my standard battery die while I am doing something, then go to put the extended battery on and lose everything.

Do you have everything backed up on your SD card? If so, then there isn't any problem since it is seperate from the phone's memory.

I like how my i730 doesn't have a camera. I never used the camera on my other phones and I like how I have the ability to take my phone places camera phones can't go like courthouses and gov't buildings.
