I am moving to an area that is not picking up Verizon service, is that something I can talk to customer sevice about and get my early termination fee waived?

I am only the 3rd line on a 4 line account so they aren't really losing a whole lot on it, but is that an option?

Help please!

How long you been in your contract? After time the ETF goes down in price. You should call and tell them your problem

The pro-rated ETF just started last fall, so that won't matter much anyway.

And since you are talking about the 3rd line of a family plan, you will not be able to cancel without the ETF as the primary line is still in the service area.

you sure about that? I've had to move out of the area with Sprint before and the waived the ETF, Verizon won't do that as well?

VZW Does do that..........his hangup in this case may be that his line is simply a share line on a Family Share account that is mostly still primarily based out of a VZW service area. It'll be tricky to get that ETF waived, if they will even do it at all.

yes, I sent them a bill for the new place where they do not have coverage. It took them 2 days to approve it.

I dont see what the big deal is here. thats not unusual if any customer moves to where we cannot provide service then we have a duty to let them out of their contract without etf.

I don't know if I'd say it's a "duty"...

well, if you whine enough and get the right rep, anything is possible.

Personally, I dont think verizon or any carrier should have let you out. You are on a family share plan, I assume a kid going off to college, and you are moving, not the primary line which is in charge of your (family) line.
