Guys, I am posting this with my new Samsung i730 using Quick2Net! Actually, after turning it on, I discovered that mine came with Windows Mobile 5.

You are right. I didn't! 😎

I use Quick2Net! It's very slow, but it only uses your minutes.

If you have Windows Mobile 5 here are the instructions to set it up:

Start -> Settings -> Connections Panel -> Connections -> Advanced -> Select Networks -> SET BOTH DROPDOWNS TO MY ISP -> Edit on either one of them it doesn't matter -> Select Quick 2 Net (#7772)

Now you just use Internet Explorer or any other online program and it will dial into Quick2Net.

Yeah. At this point, it's not worth the $620.

It's it's even better on an i730. The one thing I don't like is if you have landscape mode set for web browsing, it's akward to enter text. I liked the 6700 for that reason: auto landscape when keyboard is out.

Yeah I was between the i730 and 6700. But since the 6700 was $400 and the i730 was only $200, I went for the i730. Plus I heard it has less problems (bigger processor, solid construction, no bsod)

mobile web 2.0 is lame...I like the idea of being able to view any webpage I want...and listening to music at the same time..and texting, and emailing...and creating a slide show...and taking a phone call in the middle..

Pocket PC FTW
