I heard Verizon reps can't sell on Phones on Ebay since that would be a conflict of interest according to the policy guide? ๐Ÿคจ

Is that not true?

wow, that sucks, we get 30 days to get it back to them. Can you just send it back as defective, like say it keeps locking up or something, I know it is a little fib but that is bs. Otherwise I would just sell it cheaper on a new act, you will get a better return doing that than slapping it on ebay.

really that is funny because I have heard several reps tell me that they can't sell phones outside of work since that is a conflict of interest? They said that if Verizon found out that they were selling new phones to people outside of work they would be fired. This was at 2 Cicuit City stores and a mall store location.

They are probably buying them at a discount through their corporate location, they will probably get in trouble since they are getting them cheaper then full retail and vzw doesnt want them buying tons of phones and selling them to make extra money, I am an indirect and buy the phones at full retail price, therefore it doesnt matter if I sell the phone outright on ebay or in one of my stores.

Cant decide if this is a sarcastic response or not, so I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt.

My cost, as an indirect agent onwner is substantally higher then 2yr price, we loose money out the door, make a comission on the phone activation or upgrade, however sometimes, on certian offers, it is barely enoguht to cover the inital loss, so yes, we count heavely on accessories since they are high profit.

why dont you buy phones thru the manufacters. you could get the phhones at wholesale prices. like if retail is 99.99 for phone, you could get it at like 49.99. i guess this is why every one on hofo says they think the carriers are losing money when they mark a phone at full retail of say 149.99 and price it at 99.99,with 50.00 rebate. but with this example the carriers is only paying 49.99 for the phone. since manufactuer has supplied for the rebate in pricing.
