I have a family share plan with just my wife. I would like to add a line for my daughter by porting over our home phone #, she is the only one that uses it anyway. The problem is this - I just started at a new job where everyone uses nextel, so I would like to port my cell # to them. So, in reality I still need two lines with verizon. Is there any way to port my # and not pay an ETF,since I want the same plan. Any advice?

Not really. At least not where everyone ends up with the phone number they want. The only way to do it is have your daughter take over your cell number and you activate a new nextel number.

The best solution for you would be to bring your company over to verizon. Then everyone is happier 😁
