Well it's a very sad time for me. My e815 that I have had for about 1yr is slowly dying 😢 . It started when the buttons on the side to change the ring styles became really hard to press. It's to the point now where I have to jam them in to get them to work. Now the phone is getting horrible reception, even with the antenna up. I think the whole phone is calling it quits.

I would try to get a FRU from the verizon corporate store...they give em out pretty easily, just tell em your phone is basically not functioning properly. If they don't give you a FRU, then maybe insurance is the way to go. I would try the FRU route first--mainly cuz its free, lol

hes got a good point, you have to bring it to a tech department so they can check to see if its a warranty replacement, if the liquid indicators are tripped or if there is corrosion in the charge port its liquid damaged, if there is physical damage then you would have to go through the insurence, i have heard some cases where the insurence give you an upgrade if they dont have the phone in stock...so try the verizon tech department first and listen to their options....that would be a good suggestion
