MAJOR HELP PLEASE
i had the old samsung 650 for less then a year but the plastic casing around the antenna started breaking...is there anyway i can get samsung or verizon to take this back and replace it?

Thats not an old phone btw.. Unfortunately both Samsung and VZW may end up calling that physical damage.
Try heading to the in store techs at your local VZW direct store. If anything as a last resort try calling Samsung.

you probably dont have the 650, that has only been out for about 6 months, you probably have the A310 which does have a known hinge issue, all direct VZW locations should be aware of this

that is not true, when i go to work tomorrow i will find the launch date for you and let you know, i've been working at verizon for 14 months, we havent had the SCH-A650 for more than 6 months at the most. It launched at almost the same time the 670 did. Last year we carried the SCH-A310 which we retired in January I believe. There is one other samsung that we also retired earlier this year that we carried for a while, the SCH-A530, very small flip with external display, it started in a gold color then was silver for 2 or 3 months before it was retired.
