Automatic A Or B for Home Region?
I am in the NYC Market and my phone's default is set for Automatic B. Is that correct or should I use A.
Lastly, what's the difference here between A and B?

North East area should be Auto B
In every Area there is the A and the B carrier. One is assoicated with the main Landline company in the area. Verizon Landline is in the NE and is the B carrier, if you went South where Bellsouth/AT&T Landline is, then you would want to use Auto A.
