I have two lines; but not $619 to buy the P; although I know it'd be quite worth it.

1. RUGGED!! That should be enough right there!

2. EV-DO (Vcast, video only)

3. 2 MP camera with flash (can be used as a flashlight)

4. Nice screen

5. Rugged!!!

Ask gunny for more info.

It does everything a normal phone does...the only major difference is that the thing is...

1. Huge

2. Rugged--can drop it in water, sand, dirt and it will still work.

3. Has pretty good voice clarity.

4. Easy to text on due to the large keyboard and nice screen size.

However--No BT, No Memory card slot

chocolateman85006, why do you want to replace your enV? Is there something you dislike about it or why are you tired of it? I was going to get that phone when i can use my NE2 which is really soon.

I only got it because It was one of the few phones that Verizon has that can be used as a flip phone. I miss having unrestricted Bluetooth, which is why I want the Q.

I meant: transfering files back and forth. The Q has no restrictions on that.

As is with my i730. I have never used it, but in the Programs folder, there is a "OBEX FTP" icon.

chocolateman85006,
I was planning on getting the enV soon. But since you are planning to get rid of it, would you say that based on your experience, it is worth all the time I've been waiting for it? Or should I get another phone? The only other models I seem to somewhat like are the BB Cyclone (not yet released), the Shine, VX9400/TV, or the VX8300. I currently have the VX8000. So I have no bluetooth or expansion slot or qwerty keyboard. I would like my next phone to have a qwerty keyboard, to that kinda limits my choices to the enV or a PDA. But do you think the enV will be something that is a good investment/worth the wait?
Thanks!

The EnV is good; I just don't like Bluetooth restrictions.

I miss it because it had tethering capabilities and full Bluetooth OBEX capabilities. Sometimes you don't know what ya had until it's gone.

FULL bluetooth OBEX, stereo BT {not this "one ear" bullshit, as with my 700w [it's only TRUE flaw, other than freezing]}, laptop capability. I'll leave the texting and video taking to my Treo, which would eliminate the frustration of my Treo.

btw, since you mention you are having problems with your treo freezing. Just wondering how often you power it off?
Windows mobile kinda sucks and doesnt clear closed programs from memory, and when the memory is full the phone is going to freeze.
Each time you restart the phone it clears the memory, or you can open the task manager and close all the open apps.

I have the 700w, which only has 25 MB ram, while the 700w has 64mb. I'd love to get the WX, but $$ is tight.
