What technology does Onstar use? AMPS,CDMA,TDMA, etc.....

it depends on your year of vehicle
some 03 models had analog/digital hardware, prior to that, it was all analog... 05 version of onstar will allow you to share your verizon minutes with your onstar personal calling (onstar is exclusively verizon service anyway)

You beat me to it...

Anyway, hopefully they will incorporate Bluetooth with Onstar in the future so you use the vehicle system to control your phone. The Lexus LS430 has Bluetooth capability for phone, but it's functionality is limited to answering calls, ending calls, and limited speed dialing.
