VX4500 vs. VX4600

I just recently signed up with ATTW with a Moto V180 phone. Already I'm less than thrilled, but I've got 30 days, so I'm starting to do the research I should've done earlier.

I'm very strongly considering a switch to VZW, and I like what I'm hearing about the LG phones. Strong, reliable connections and ease-of-use are at the top of my want list. I have no need for data messaging, and any phone with a camera is immediately disqualified.

I've narrowed my choices down to two: the VX4500 and the VX4600. I know about the voice system and speakerphone on the 4500, and those are appealing (although maybe not necessary) to me. Since the 4600 dispenses of those things, what are its advantages over the 4500?

First of all, I doubt that tri-mode will be necessary for you, but you should check the coverage locator under the "support" tab on verizonwireless.com. Regarding those two phones, I would say that the 4600 is smaller, lighter, better looking, and has a much better outer display (OLED) than the 4500. That being said, the 4500 is a wonderful phone, and the voice recognition and speakerphone functions are awesome. When I have had both of those phones in stock, people seem to prefer the 4500 by about 5 to 1.

i personally use attws but i sell verizon. i cant tell you how much i hate att. verzion has a number you can call for free and find out you balance min used ect. i got in a fight yesterday with att because they cant tell you how many min i used until my bill comes. if you are are gong to pick a phone with verzion i would go with the 4500 it has many more nice features than the 4600. the 4600 just looks better. shop around for that phone too. i would not pay any more than tax for it. that is what i sell it for..16.27 in california. i have never had a complaint about it either. except with old people.
