For my experience, YES Samsungs are really that bad. I bet just about anyone here, who knows software anyway, would agree that Samsung just can't seen to get their CDMA software right. For example, a personal experience anyway, my girlfriend has the A670. Form day number one, she was dropping calls, some calls wern't coming through to her phone, and twice in the first week the phone wouldn't register the charger being plugged in. We had to constantly (about once every day or two) pull the batter off and re-start the phone (which re-boots the software). Currently i have the Samsung a530s and i like it because it's currently the smallest Verizon phone. I dont have any use for a camera. I just really like the design of the SCH-N330 and i have not had a problem with my a530s since i bought it. I personally dont like any of the lg models and i think the motorolas suck because of there chargers always break. I had the vx7000 and returned it cause is was just a monster (too big) and the only thing i kinda liked was Mobile web 2.0. The only phone that comes close to the a530s in size is the se47. which we can all agree is junk, and the 3200. I am also a totally believer in "you pay for what you get" so i refuse to pay under $200 retail for a phone, cause i know it will be junk.

Eh? I've had a Samsung 530 for awhile now, and its been a very good phones for me.

Absolutely no problems at all, 'cept for Get It Now crashing me once or twice after I previewed like 200 ringtones in one session 😁
