Activating a new phone???

if i buy a new phone on verizon's website, i can just activate it myself through the website right? i don't have to take it to the store do i? thanks

when you sign up for a plan online, I believe you just call them once you get the phone shipped to you and it all gets done over the phone. However, I would advise you to actually go to a store for your phone and service simply because you get to see working models of the phones, plus there are reps there who can answer all of your questions. Many people think that getting a phone online is cheaper, but it really is not. Maybe on some discontinued models that they are trying to get rid of, that's it. Also, if you do decide to purchase online, please make sure it is through VZW's website, not a website of an agent. Agents are fine if you actually go into the store, but I've seen WAY too many problems with customers who purchase from an agent'...

that was one of my other Q's in another thread, would i get the same discount in-store that i would get online? and thanks for the response.

With some phones you purchase online you get an instant rebate as opposed to a mail in rebate at a store or through customer service
