Am. Choice and LDC map colors question?

Hi,

Now here is my take on what they mean, the dark blue and red areas are all digital coverage. The light blue or pink areas are analog coverage areas, or areas that other carriers are transitioning.

Is this the correct take on this, or is it diffrent like the dark is 1xrtt coverage (with data extended networks), and the rest is IS95?

I know there is a Verizon 1x map that is orange for enhanced services. That is not what I am talking about though.

Please confirm or correct my thinking on this,

Thanks 😉

Oops just in case, yes I know the brown is roaming and the white is no service.

You have it pretty good. The dark red(blue if you are looking at a local map) is either Verizon 1x or another carrier digital. The lighter colors are indicating analog is probably what you will pick up in that area. With the new IN calling, it doesn't matter which one you are in, you are IN-no minutes used when talking to another Verizon customer. Hope this clarifies.

Yeah that is my understanding too,

I am an indirect agent having sold VZW for 2yrs, and wanted to make sure I am correct.

But here is the catch, if you goto vzw.com and under the support tab goto coverage locator, and look at maine for example it will show extended digital for part of the pink area up there.

Not that I know anyone who goes to main, but there are some discrepancies.

THX in advance.
