VZW wireless sync question

With all the techs that post on here, maybe someone has an answer to this. I have a customer who is being told by tech support that she has to manually go into vzw wirless sync and empty her email. She is being told that when she gets to so many in there that it stops syncing. She is having this issue where the server quits sending email to her phone.

Is there a way to autoclear email?

Thanks.

There is not auto delete feature per se. The limit for WS is 48MB for the inbox and the site will stop syncing everything when the mailbox gets there. Now if she's doing syncs as soon as the email is deleted off of the device it will be deleted from the site as well. If the site does not reflect deletions then we have a different issue. Is she using straight wireless sync with pop access or is she using PC monitor? Is the site not pulling from the mail server, or is the site not pushing? Ultimately she will have to maintain the site and the device a little bit to ensure everything is working properly.
If WS keeps doing this looking into an alternate solution might be the best bet...Pocket Outlook, Versamail etc.

First I would like to thank you for the response. Second...are you saying that if she deletes them off her phone it will keep her MB down and therefor allow incoming emails?

She uses wireless sync and the Motorola Q.

Thanks.

Yes it is supposed to be a 2 way synchronization, so if you delete inofrmation from the device it should be deleted from the site and vice versa. If the info is not being deleted then we're looking into a different issue that might require tshooting. Now if the site is overloaded right now, the she will have to delete messages from the site before email sync resumes.
