How will competition help the consumer?
This came to mind today when bragging to a co-worker about my vzw phone/service. He's with ATT and not sure if he should follow me and switch. I realized I couldn't have an informed discussion. Any thoughts?

Sometimes just telling them that your Verizon service WORKS is enough... I kid you not.
My girlfriend's roommate, for example, has AT&TW, and fairly frequently gets a 'network too busy' -type message between 5pm and 9pm on weekdays. All anyone would have to say to her is, "Wow, it doesn't have to be that way. I have Verizon, and I never get...
