i have the en-v and its a pretty good phone for the most part. but i have had a few minor problems with it....it seems to powercycle itself when doing certain things (sometimes when on "get it now" and whenever i use the the zoom when recording video). those issues arent a big deal for me. at leaste not a big enough deal to get an exchange out for a refurb that might have bigger problems.

i called verizon once and they had me download some update that i think was for issues with signal and what not, im sure the guy i spoke with was required to have me d/l this as part of t/s, but of course it didnt work.

anyway.....my question for some of the insiders over at verizon is....what are the big complaints you guys get on the en-v's? known p...

Everytime I asked a rep about EnV issues, they never know; even the ones that HAVE the env.

Yeah. I wouldn't take a 4gb card like thay said it would, and the save option changes on its own.

Had my enV since February. So far, I've seen it randomly powercycle itself like yours is doing. Very few but noticable issues with dropping calls. And the charge port got loose and doesn't work anymore. It's on its way to LG as we speak ☹️

@attwork,

I would suggest you call in to Customer Service and tell them what has been happening.

The fix might be something as simple as getting the phone flashed at a store or some setting on the phone/your account that is messed up, although it does sound more like a hardware issue to me.

If you phone is still under the Worry Free Guarantee or Warranty you should be able to get a new phone, if not if you have insurance you might be able to as well, depending on where you live you may have a couple other replacement options as well.

Overall I have not heard many complaints at all about the EN-V and I know about a dozen people who have it.

Its definitely not a common issue, most likely bad hardware.

I've had my enV since Feb, and I love it, but it does power cycle on its own once in awhile. The flash is suppose to fix that.

The EnV doesnt get complaints. The problems you are describing would be a defect in the hardwear or software of your phone, not the model itself.
You most likely need a warranty replacement, as long as you got your phone directly from VZW or from a VZW agent that used VZW or Brightstar to get the phone the warranty will be supported by VZW and can be exchanged at a store with a tech on site or through tech support via phone by calling 800-922-0204 from a phone other than your VZW phone that is having the problems.

One thing you might want to try if you havent yet is to run backup assistant on your phone and then do a master reset under the security menu.

I randomly have the same problems you described in your original post. I just live with it, but I would assume that a software update would fix it. It seemed to in all the other lg vcast phones I have had. My 8000, 8100, and 9800 all did the same things occasionally while on get it now.
