I was going to say, "Congrats on finally getting the phone you wanted", but then I remembered that you were looking for a NON-camera phone. So unless the v260 comes out for Verizon also, you may still be outta luck.
However, someone on the v260 forum is stating that there's already V260s in VZW warehouses in the Midwest, they just don't have a release date or accessories yet. We'll see what happens.

right now, even tho i dont really want a camera fone, i may settle for one. ... seriously looking at lg 6100, but i want to see a v265 alive and working (radioshack only recieved 2 in today, and he didnt have plans to plug one in just yet)

did you realize the screen is the same size as the lg vx3200 ..... which is acceptable in my book since they are relatively the same size phone
...
i'm used to the 4500 and the 9900 that what i use and my friends have the 710 so to me it is tiny
...
im sure it does seem tiny in comparison to the 9900 and the others, but for the small size of the phone, its comparable to others
...
