Larger Contact List Fonts for the Visually Impaired ?

My neighbor is returning his Maxx and switching carriers for an unusual reason. He can't read the contact list without wearing glasses. He could with the Motorola E815 interface.

The newer phones with the QVGA screens ought to have a setting for that on the Verizon UI.

if verizon would stop jacking over the ui it would probably be there, i had the samsung u740 which gave you the option to increase font size but it didn't work, it changed nothing. the ui is jacked!

I said He can't read the contact list without wearing glasses. He finds the buttons just fine. Finding the contact number might be more of a challenge.

Really, the VZ UI for the Motorola QVGA screen compensates for the icons, wallpapers, and browswer font, however just about every list has 37% smaller font size compared to the older 176 x 220 screen size.

Scaling some but not all objects up can't be intentional.
