I recently purchased a bluetooth headset (Motorola 505) for my LG 8300 and was told that I could listen to the music that I have downloaded to the MP3 player through the bluetooth, however, I am unable to do so. I went back to Verizon where I was told that it was definitely possible with these two products they just didn’t (couldn't/wouldn't) know how to “unlock” the phone/bluetooth to make it work. I was also told that many of their products have features that the "Average Joe" is not able to access unless they are "unlocked" but because they work for Verizon they are not able to give me that info. Won't work, the H505 is a headset, you'd need BT headphones to listen to music. Unless the change to make it the 505 (from the H500 which I had) was to add this capability.

Thank you for getting back to me! Would you be able to tell me how to add this capability? Like I had mentioned before I don't know a thing about this kind of stuff! Do you know what the are talking about when they say "unlock"? I am so confused!

You cant "add it", its not a feature that you can "unlock" the bluetooth headset you have cannot be used to listen to music, its kinda like asking "can you tell me what button to push to make my car float on water" its just not meant to do that.

All you can do is get the bluetooth headset that will allow you to listen to music, I think they start off at arount $100.
