LG VX8550 (sorry! i dont want to be a pain...)
Hello everyone,
I've been trying to find more information on the LG VX8550 that is going to be released soon... hopefully.
My 2 year contract is ready for an upgrade, and I went to verizon yesterday to upgrade. I planned on getting the Cherry Chocolate, but the sales rep talked me out of it because of the new chocolate coming out.
In the store, they showed me pictures of the blue mint vx8550. It's really sharp and I love it, but I want to find the pictures again, and I can't.
I read all the threads on here about seeing the phone in "infocenter" and "equipment guide" but I don't know what "infocenter" and "equipment guide" are... Any help??
Anyone know any release dates? I'm not looking for specific dates.... july? august? sep...

you should feel blessed they showed you a picture to begin with. Not trying to be rude but that shouldnot have been showed to a customer, those pix are on our internal site for employees only so youo will have a hard time finding them.

I was very surprised they showed me the phone in the store as well. I was actually even more surprised they told me a new one was coming out! haha
I literally had everything all set to get the Cherry Chocolate... it was in the computer and everything. Then a sales rep came up and told me the new one was coming out, probably within the month, and if my current phone was still functional it was best for me to wait. Then they pulled up the phone on the website so I could see it. It's pretty snazzy. I definitely want the blue! 🙂

right now there is a 60 day upgrade early but they are in the process of extended it to 120 days, so depending on whwere you are looking this may happen till everything is fixed in the system

They are listed in the July and August update magazine. So I'd look for it sometime in that time frame! Give it a little bit of market time though, it's a new LG..don't jump too fast, or you'll regret it!
