Got the Motorola W385 today and it's built like a Tank !

Just picked up the W385 Moto..
It's about the size of the Krzr but has a gorgeous Rubberized Finish.. Keypad is by far the best Moto has ever put out on any phone they have built and I mean it..
Yes it's a basic phone so alot of people wont care but the main features are nice. I have not activated it yet , later tonight but the speaker phone is loud and the bluetooth is I think the first moto 2.0 and should be awesome.. I tried the voice dialing and it's fast.
NO RED BARS !!! YEAH !!
It has black bars with the green graphics like the LG's... Very cool.
Screen is very small but very usable and the outside screen is basic but incredibly readable outside or inside no problem..
I have to test battery life and voice qua...

Thanks for the report, Craig. I'm very interested in this phone, but have been unable to locate a matching belt clip for it. Are you using one you can recommend? Any word on when/if Motorola will make one available?

Despite the fact that none of the Verizon stores/kiosks in my area seem to have heard of this phone (much less have it in stock), it appeared on Verizon's web site today. (So much for the "Best Buy exclusive" story they gave me a couple of days ago.)
Best Buy has them in stock, but has no accessories. The Verizon reps with whom I spoke today claim they should have the phones (and accessories) in "a few weeks."

The keypad is the best on any phone.. It's a new keypad that rocks like you cant believe. I can text at about 900 words a minute 🙂

I have been tricked by Moto multiple times..I will waite a few months before i start pushing this product on myself or any customers. Everytime they come out with a new one and I give in I regret it a few months later!
