Why I'm with verizon

Folks, the local AT&T store has lost my business forever.

Yesterday, I lined up at the AT&T store to get an iPhone. I was the 21st person on line.

At 6 PM, they started letting customers in 2 at a time. After about 20 minutes, two customers walked out with iPhones. Another 15 minutes later, another 2 customers walked out with iPhones. (How on earth it takes 35 minutes to ring up 4 customers, I can't understand.) During that time, no one else was allowed into the store. Not even customers who weren't there for iPhones. They turned away at least 10 angry people who wanted accessories/assistance in the time I waited in line.

Yep all the cry babies over on the ATT forum are calling fowl, so lame every company has its problems....but not letting in non iphone wanting customers was hella unprofessional. I know verizon would have been much more organized and made sure all of its customers needs were takin care of...just goes to so you how retarded ATT is.

That's one story from one store. I'm betting that it was just a poorly managed store as opposed to being a company wide problem. I can't imagine AT&T being stupid enough to tell their stores to turn away existing customers that are going to buy something else.

just so everyone knows my dad works with apple and they told him that AT&T stors only got 60 iphones to sell to the store probably did hold some for friends and family. my dad and his company has a few iphones and he brought one home....i dont like it...to be honest its way to much hype. i like my enV much better...so what if its touch screen? the only good thing on the the iphone is the screen and the UI but thats it. other then that its an ipod with 8 gigs. and what kind of picture phone cant send pictures or take video? and i saw that you can only use an apple email address. no g-mail or anything else. stupid designing if you ask me. but you should see the numbers on these things selling....its amazing.... in new york around $1.7 million ...
