When is the Razr 2 coming to Verizon?

date hasn't been set (or announced anyway), but its on the new rebate forms, for whatever thats worth

Uh, if it isn't in the pipeline yet, despite what the rebate forms say, you might not see it for a bit until Qualcomm settles their suit.

Not what I wanted to tell you, either. I left Verizon recently after 8 years for Alltel, because Verizon doesn't have service local to Charlottesville, VA. Broke my heart to do so, but if Alltel gets bought out by VZW, that would be just ducky with me, too. In the meantime, pressure needs to be brought about on Qualcomm to settle this thing. It will be eventually. I'd just rather see it happen sooner than later.

A lawsuit usually takes at least a year to settle. Maybe Verizon could sell a phone with another chip, but the R2 was designed with Qualcomm.

I don't think the chip ban takes effect until early August. If the RAZR 2 is intro'd before then, then it doesn't fall under the ban. This is what I've read, anyway.

Yes, but Verizon usually averages 3 months after the actual release date and what Motorola advertises.
