Example...before I canceled for Sprint I was trying to find out if I can upgrade.

Here are the facts about my contract (old contract now)...
- Contract end date is November 1, 2007
- One year contract
- Upgrade date is September 1, 2007

Here is what I was told at VZW...

- First girl at retail store told me to come in July 1, 2007 to upgrade at discounted pricing because now you can upgrade 4 months before contract end date. She also said I can upgrade to 1 or 2 year contract and keep my 39.99 plan.

- Guy at call center told me I can only upgrade 4 months early on 2 year contract going into another 2 year contract with a $20 upgrade fee. Also told me I have to go up to 59.99 plan.

- Customer service in another store told m...

Don't you mean 'stop trolling' only? 'Cuz from personal experience, its pretty hard to enjoy Sprint service. đŸ˜ĸ

In any case, its fair to say that VZW has not done a good job of informing reps about the change of policy on upgrades that began on June 1.

I remember walking into a VZW Store a few days after the new policy took effect, and the floor level reps didn't know anything about the new policy... they had to go run to the manager or policy nerd or whoever before they believed me that the upgrade date had changed.

yeah everyone is kinds up in the air on that one, verizon snuck in in and didn't get the system or people really trained on it, but come on..When you signed up on a 12month service were you really under the impression they would let you upgrade after 8months 🙄 any of those option are more than what were available to you at sign up.
the $20 fee is for annual upgrade, when you upgrade a line after 12months when you were on a 24 month agreement. other than that I don't know if you can do the 4 month early on a one year or not, but this is kinda of lame, it is not like you signed up then they said you couldn't upgrade after 10 months, all of these options were better than what you started with.

This is just a sprint troll, spreading more lies because I guess he thinks he is showing company loyalty by bashing another carrier... If you go look in the sprint forum this guy posts that he is a sprint employee...
