which is better
im am trying to decide whether or not i should stay with cingular or go to verizon... what reason would i have to go to verizon

Oh lord...U have no idea what you are about to start...If I were you just research this forum and Cingulars and you will find your answer. I started a similar thread and it turned out to be the longest thread I have ever seen on phonescoop. But anyway...you should choose by who has better coverage in your area..If you are staying mostly in or around a city then either one is fine. If you live in a more rural area then you might want to choose Verizon because if you get a trimode phone then you will be able to go into analog mode if the need be. If you are a techy person and like all the new gadgets, bells and whistles stay with Cingular because Verizon tends to be a little behind on bells and whistles (ex. bluetooth).
