The Q
I Like the Q, oneo f the main reasons that I love it is, it doesn't have the verizon menu system. Also, I like the keyboard becuase it is big enough for my hands. I was told by the store that If i get the phone that I have to get the data plan. I don't plan on using the phone for any date. Does anyone have this phone without the data plans??? I just want a test plan. Let me know...

You can get pay as you go 1.5 cents per a KB, but if you plan on using pix msg then it will use the data network instead of mins like a cellphone.

You can not use the data on the Q, but trust me, you will want to use data. It will tempt you greatly. Let's say you're on vacation in a restaurant and you need to check the next day's forecast. But you can't because you don't have data.

as lord said you can get the pay as you go for 1.5c a kb and not pay monthly access. or you can get 10mb of data transfer for 24.99. or unlimited for 44.99
if you are on a single line plan (not family) you can bundle the data with your calling plan to get it even cheaper, as low as 20$ I think depending on calling plan
