Extended Warranty, or Total Equipment Coverage??
I have the new chocolate, and while it has been a great phone so far, I think its best to purchase some kind of warranty since I have a 2 year contract.
I don't know if I'd be better off getting an EW or TEC.
I'm concerned about the slider breaking and the chrome navigation wheel breaking. My videos have also been freezing, so I'm concerned about that too. Would these things be covered on the EW??
I guess I just don't understand the difference between the two.

The extended warranty will cover manufacturer defects. It would cover things like the phone freezing or malfunctioning in some way.
The total equipment coverage would cover any accidental user damage. If you drop the phone in a puddle or crack the screen or break the navigation wheel, it would be covered. There is a $50 deductible with the total equipment coverage.
I have total equipment coverage on my plan. I was at a party one time. I was on my phone, someone bumped me from behind, and my phone dropped in the only glass of water within 5 feet of me. Anything can happen so it's not a bad idea to have the total equipment coverage on an expensive phone.

Also, with the EW I believe you get a refurbished phone, and with the TEC you would get a brand new phone, right?? (but the TEC you'd have to pay thr $50)

Also, what is WFG? Worry Free Guarentee, i know... but what does that entail.

The EW and the TEC will give you a refurbished phone. Neither one is new. The worry free guarantee is something else entirely. It doesn't really apply.

yea the EW is guaranteed refurb phone because those come directly from our stock. Now the TEC is different. i had a lg 8100 with the insurance and filed a claim when it was discontinued and they sent me a brand new phone with the plastic and everything on it. but most of the time it is refurbished also.
