I wonder how the store reps get paid?

"Apple gets $3 a month for the length of a two-year contract for every iPhone sold through AT&T, and that Apple also receives an additional $8 a month for every new iPhone subscriber that transfers service to AT&T from another wireless provider."

I doubt they do, no in store activation. Just a matter of ringing something up, just like an accessory. Maybe a small flat rate but I don't know for sure, not COR.

Don’t doubt it my friend because that is how these exclusive deals work. the manufacturer takes some of the monthly fees. Apple does indeed take that amount per month per iphone sold.
