slp

Just wondering, even if I have unlimited text, will I still be charge per minute per connection to Mobile AIM? Such as refreshing the contact list, and so on?

What about forwarding IMs from PC to Mobile?

The answer to your first question is no. Not sure about the second one.

Uh... not sure how accurate that reply was. Data connections do use air time (e.g., refreshing buddy list, etc.).

He asked if he would be charged airtime while connected. That is not the case. Is he charged airtime when downloading the app, absolutely.

"...Such as refreshing the contact list, and so on?"

You are charged airtime for that... unless you have a data plan that includes it.

Take calls on it every day. Yes, it does use airtime, but for specific functions. Sign in & buddy list refresh. Messages and status changes: since these are fully completed thru SMS, airtime is not charged or required.

Thanks for the link and clearer/accurate reply. 🙂

Also, does it charge per minute if just sending and receiving an IM on Mobile IM? I'm thinking no, but I want to verify.
