Bought an LGVX 7000
Bit the bullet and did it. I retired my T-730 and I feel like I died and went to heaven...
The phone for my liking is perfect. Very loud ear piece which I need for Manhattan and the keypad is much more responsive than the old Motorola.
I was considering the 710 but it just seemed too tinny for me and I want to escape from Motorola for a while.
The 265 appeared to me like an updated T730 with a new color screen.
Sorry to rant but I did not know what I was missing for the past year till i got this phone.
I will write a detailed review later after I've had a chance to play more with it.

All i can say is that not only does it have excellent sound quality (not tinny and has the ability to get really loud when needed) but it is easy and kind of fun to use. Less steps than my Motorola 730 and so far I am loving the ease of using it.
What more can I say other than the phone is nothing short of perfection.
