VZW drops LNP fee 100%
Verizon gets rid of the LNP fee completely. Thus giving up $15 million per month. Will any other carrier be looking out for their customers best interest like VZW? Just wondering.

Yup we did. It was in the taxes and additional surcharge area of each bill. Now VZW eats the LNP cost.

Yes, Verizon Wireless just dropped the $0.40 monthly "number portability" fee. They are still charging the $0.05 per month in U.S. regulatory fees.
Sprint trimmed its monthly regulatory recovery fee to $0.25 per month after a previous reduction from $1.10 to $0.40 in June.
Cingular Wireless charges up to $1.25 per month for its Regulatory Cost Recovery Fee; Nextel Communications charges a Federal Programs Cost Recovery fee of $1.55 or $2.83 per month for a number of government programs; and T-Mobile charges $0.86 for its Regulatory Programs Fee.

Are you sure about that? I have other sources that say it is going to be dropped to 5 cents, not zero.

No it is going to be dropped 100% percent there will be notifications in all customers bills. Not that anyone really reads thjier bill anyway.

This means that my bill will go from $51.24 monthly to $50.84...! 🙂
