my sounds are for ....
what? don't have VZ, but sell it, and recently, an inquiring mind asked me what those sounds were for. I assumed (incorrectly, unless I'm not finding the right app) that they were to be used for a ringtone when required.

I may be wrong, but as far as I can tell sounds are for adding to picture messages. I have not found a way to make them work as ringtones, but I also don't know how to hack things. But my answer is that they are for messaging purposes.
