Samsung SCH-i760

Three question about the upcoming Samsung SCH-i760

1. I know it has an IR port on it, but does anyone know where it is on the phone?

2. The 730 came with an IR remote control program which I really like, does anyone know if that is going to be included in the I760 or are they dropping that package?

3. Anybody know if the 760 is going to come with two batteries like the 730 did?

I love the remote control program on my i730 too. If it's not, I can extract it from the registry and install it on the i730.

I'd be interested to know how you can do that because I think I'm going to need to do that since it doesn't look like the 760 is going to come with it.....only judging by screen shots of program menu's I've seen.

I'm still curious though, I've seen screen shots of the phone from most angles and I don't see the IR port that is supposedly on it. No IR, I might have to wait for the 6800

I don't think it has a IR.

It won't have 2 batteries. That was one reason the 730 was so damn expensive.

Hmm if it ends up being no IR port, that will be kind of dissapointing.

As for no two batteries, well lets hope it has decent battery life because I have seen NO info at all on suspected battery life.

It has to have an IR port. Every PDA has an IR port.

The only reason the i730 came with 2 batteries is because the battery life sucks (though I have yet to remove the extended battery from the plastic bag it came in, I just charge the standard most every night.)

Aside from the aforementioned remote control programs, what would be the point of having IR on a PDA anymore? All of them have Bluetooth which is much faster and isn't restricted to line of sight.

I'm just curious, thats all

I have not seen the specs on this one, been more interested in the 6800, but are we going to get wifi and a camera on this one?

Yes and Yes. Supposedly the 760 will have a 1.3 MP camera and B/G wifi but you never know. The I730, it's predasessor had a camera on it before Verizon got a hold of it. Hopefully they will leave the camera this time
