No New VZW Plans for the Holidays?
Just asking. My friend is FINALLY going to be bailing this week on Cingular (nee AT&TW) to go to Verizon.
The only promo plan that seems active right now is the '1000 Anytime Minutes w/Free Long Distance for $39.99' deal, which is nice (and what I have), but won't work for her as she needs more like 1400 anytime minutes at least plus unlimited nights & weekends... she's a heavy user.
Is the $79.99 Local plan her best bet, or is there something in the plan pipeline that'll be out soon?

As far as we know what is out there now is here until through January. You're actually lucky to have the 1000 min promotion. My area got rid of that several months ago.
