Over the past few weeks, my girlfriend has been looking into international cell phone plans. At the Verizon Wireless Web site, she had an online chat with a sales representative. I feel compelled to share this verbatim transcript:
A Verizon Wireless online pre-sales specialist has joined the chat. You are now chatting with chelsea.
chelsea: Hello. Thank you for visiting our chat service. May I help you with your order today?
You: I am interested in the international BlackBerry and am looking for detailed information for rates on data and voice when making calls from different countri...

I simply asked him not to make the assumption about all Verizon Wireless representatives, which he did.
But by all means, if you feel the need to laugh at her ignorance, please do so.
The issue you pointed out is not exclusive to VZW...as these very forums point out. Look at some of the appalling use (actually mis-use) of the English language. There, their, they're and many other "basics" of 4th grade English class.
As for your arrogant comment, I've seen it at every other carrier, so saying it about VZW really doesn't make it so...
You: Hi Aaron, do you have any Motorola phones that have the standard Motorola Synergy interface?
Aaron.: Where did you read this at?
You: I didn't "read" it anywhere, it's what comes on the Cingular RAZR V3xx I have. I'm interested in Verizon if I can keep this software.
Aaron.: You will not be able to do this the reason why, is different technology then we do.
You: This is a lie, I have a friend who has a RAZR and has flashed it with ALLTEL software so it acts like my RAZR. Are there any phones that come like that without me needing to hack them?
You: I also have a friend with an old Motorola V710 who has the same software.
Aaron.: I'm so...
