Reception problem

I live in Houston, TX and was in the Baltimore/Wash. D.C. area on Wednesday. My Verizon phone (Samsung SCH 670) usually performs well and don't have a problem with reception or signal strength. But for some reason, I had a hard time getting a clear signal and being able to make calls around the area. I had a hard time making calls at BWI airport also.

I don't know if Verizon does not have good coverage around the Baltimore/Wash. D.c. area? I think Verizon's coverage is pretty extensive, but can't explain what happened on Wed.

There are 2 sides to the network, A and B. Texas uses the A side and DC used the B side. If you go there again go to settings and change the network to automatic b and update the PRL (*22😎 that will get you rolling. When you get back just change it back to auto a.

no prev. post is wrong we use b side here in houston not a.... trust me....just make sure you do the *228 before you leave your home area and it will ensure you have the latest tower update, if you happen to travel to an a-side area then phone will auto change for you...
