What concrete info is there that Veizon will pick up the Curve? I know there was that one report from BG but that didn't even state any real specifics.

I agree. I was so high on getting the 8830 and then I tried it in a store and saw how close together the buttons are....
Hopefully the new one with the camera will be better otherwise I'll just have to keep my LG 8700 duct taped to my Blackberry 7130e so I can fool important business clients into thinking I have the latest device.

Sorry boys and girls. If you get a BB with a camera it will not be the curve. AT&T has an exclusive on the product.

have you used the 8830 gunny? Its the best phone I have ever used and thats no lie. If it had a 2.0MP camera on the back I would buy 15 of them.

Honestly I think a BB curve or variant would be cool but then we would all be complaining that now we have a cool phone/pda but now we have to pay $44.95 for unlimited data.

Maybe....but I will take the $25 a month savings. I can still check and send email, get on the web, get videos...With the new mobile email, it even has a form of "push" email, if you have the alerts turned on.

sure. And if that works for you...it is a nice feature. I would only need the same myself. I am just saying that the extra a month for a blackberry can be justified if you need it...

RIM reps have flat out said that VZW isnt getting the curve, they have hinted at a consumer targeted BB coming for 4th quarter though.

Consumer based means the Pearl 2 with the same old smaller crappy keypad instead of the full qwerty keypad.
