Its funny that ATT seems like they're dropping the whole 'fewest dropped calls' thing. I guess it wasn't doing much for them... not a lot of ppl believed them anyway.

yeah now they are copying verizon and sprint. Best network and largest voice and data area. WOW their advertising is getting as bad as sprints!

But I really think this has to do with the court action that wwas filed against them for the fewest dropped calls thing!

the one I know about for sure is a lady said she saw a advertisement billboard and it said the fewest dropped calls. She signed up with them and experienced more dropped calls then her previous carrier. So she is suing for false advertising and loss of business because of so many dropped calls.

That's right, I do remember that. There was also a study, right around that time, that Sprint had the fewest dropped calls. That was based on a private company, that was going by calls re-made with in the same minute. Wow, America is getting bad with suing. I read an Coke Zero billboard, that mocked suing. The billboard read Coke Zero, tastes just like Coke, we should sue ourselves. LOL! That's bad.

yeah it is getting carried away. I think it all started with the crazy bitch that sued McDonalds for coffee to hot. But she would have been the first to complain if it was warm or cold! I think the courts need to stop most of this craziness!

Democrat or Republican; If a candidate had a slogan like "Elect me, I'm not a lawyer", I'd vote for 'em!

Then we might get tort reform.

Politics is over now.....

There was another case where a guy snorted a Reese's peanut butter cup up his nose, then sued when he got a sinus infection. He won because: "There's no wrong way to eat a Reese's."

Another case involved a woman getting pregnant after using petroleum jelly. She sued the company because there were no application instructions on the label, and she had been putting it on her toast. I don't know if she won or not.

People will do anything for a quick buck.

I like diet. 😛. Anyway does anyone have a link to the study that had the report that sprint had the least amount of dropped calls? I would like to see that.

yes i agree they do drop a lot of calls, i find it pretty funny when their customers say that... if you notice all verizon says is its the network. they don't make promises, they have enough happy customers to spread the word.

after reading some posts on here and howard forum, I am not so sure that verizon is going to keep their happy customers happy unless they start fixing their system.

In my area, verizon could advertise the fewest dropped calls and actually be the truth, as you cant drop a call that you cant make in the first place.
