I have the Q ( unfortunately) any how, i text a lot and have told everyone not to send me a text over 160 characters because it gets stuck in my phone. Sometimes they forget and i get a long text that jams up my in box until i make a phone call and all the sudden i get like 9 or 10 texts rolling through. This also happened when i had my treo. Is there anyway to fix this or am i s.o.l.?

thats really weird and shouldnt be happenning because of a long text....I use a treo and have never had an issue like that.

Do you like in a low reception area?

Call tech support. I had a similar issue with delayed text. What happens is some setting inside the network have to be adjusted so that your delivery doesn't get routed incorrectly. Its not a major issue, but should be able to be resolved by tech support. Call customer service and tell them about your issue and they'll forward you to tech support. Fixed my issue within 5 minutes.

Agreed. It's called "Convert EMS to SMS". Enhaned Message Service allows the little pictures you can put in a text as well as messages over 160 characters because they can e-mail. Some PDA's don't use EMS. So, the network can split EMS messsages into separate SMS messages. Warrior is right. Tech Support can fix it.
