HTC XV-6800: How long more realistically?
I've been following up on the news on this phone from VZW for some time. Of course both AT+T and Sprint have it, but VZW does not. My NE2 has been up for a while, and this is the only phone I want.
I saw a report that it would come out in July, then another one giving us hope for August 16 release. Then we learn from the good people at VZW who keep us informed on this forum, that they haven't yet been trained not only on this phone, but neither on WM6.

Do I smell an Oct delivery at this point, or even a later date?

If you want to know, call the manufacturer and ask them when they expect to have the device ready for release with VZW, once they have it ready and have shipped a large enough quanity to VZW, VZW will release it within weeks.

Yeah i dont understand why it is taking this long either. A fellow colleague of mine has been waiting on this phone for a couple months 😕 From what ive heard they have been having issues in the testing in the device. No specifics but that is the reason for the pushbacks. From what ive heard it looks like November for this lovely device. And its Rev-A upgradable. 🤤 Ive been waiting on that or the Samsung i730

all ive heard has been early october, vzw is really tight lipped about telling reps when the phones are gonna be available, so if its really worth it, wait it out. the other carriers have the phone, but no network to back it up. personally, id wait.
