Moto Q Data Plans
I went in to a vzw store today to get the Moto Q, and the pricing of the phone wasnt bad, however the $44/month for unlimited data seemed a little steep. They said there are three options: 1. The $44/month. 2. $24/month for 10 mb of data/month. 3. no plan and they charge u 1.5 cents/kb used. Now i wouldnt do option 3, because i realize that would get very pricey, however i wanted to know ur opinions on option 2. In terms of internet and email is that reasonable, or is 10 mb not much?? what would u recommend? thanks
...
Option 2 is really only good if your using it just to check e-mail. I feel your pain. I work there and still don't wanna pay for it at a discount. Guess I'm cheap.

What if you have the vcast pak for $25.00 including e-mail. is it worth it to get a Q9M withouta a data plan?
...
VCast doesn't work on PDA/Smartphones. Sorry, features don't add up.
...
VCAST does work on the Q9M smartphone!!!!!!! 👿
...
That is true. It (somewhat) works on the Q too. (Appzone)

What exactly comes in the data plan for the Q?? If i were to get the $24 plan, the 10 mb wouldnt be enough for internet usage??
...
you would just have to constantly monitor it...and yes, it might not be enough depending on usage...just get the unlimited, then drop down after a month or two if your KB usage is not that high
...
10 MB is not anything. I know they are expensive.
I suggest trying Sprint. They have unlimited data for $15 per month.
