im not sure what to do, my contract is up in september and i want to get a ppc. im leaning towards the i760 or maybe the xv6800. but i heard the verizon is getting the htc touch/vogue. should i wait for this to come out, or should i just get the i760. i feel like im getting old technology since it takes verizon so long to come out with their phone. Anyone know if the touch/vogue is coming out anytime soon?

should i wait or get the i760/xv6800 when they come out?

How would anybody know if you should get the 760 or 6800? Neither of them are out yet?

Do you like using a stylus to text/e-mail/type? because that is what you need to do if you get a vogue. Get an i760/xv6800

Let's see:
*Both are WM6
*Both are coming out for sure
*i760 1.3 MP camera w/flash
*6800 2.0 MP camera w/flash
*Both are Wi-Fi
*6800 is Rev. A upgrageable
*The i760 is made by Samsung. Hell, that's a plus right there.
*The 6800 will have a UTStarcom label on it for some strange reason, though it's an HTC product.
*Both will be expensive as hell, though my gut says the Samsung might be $50 cheaper.
*i760 is black
*6800 is blue

I know most of this is rabbling. Point is get the device you know is coming out for sure. I would put too much stock in the Touch/Vogue coming out and offering anything fresh.

I won't compare the Touch in here which looks like it will be cool, but without a qwerty keyboard, that puts the HTC Touch in a different cat, and one that I'm not interested in.

So that leaves the I760 and the XV6800. I've looked at the two and they both have a lot in common with there previous models the I730 and the XV6700. So rather than compare the new models that we've only seen pictures of and not touched, I'll compare the previous models which I've owned (yes both) and give you my own opinion and you can draw your own conclusion from that.

Just to get started, my next purchase will be the I760 and when you look at the following hopefully you will understand why

Sorry this maybe a little long:

Although they are pretty si...

I know the i760 isn't out yet but is there anyone that has "played" w/the non working demo and compared it to sprints xv6800? Is the i760 that much bigger? Also I read somewhere that the i760 will have stereo where as the xv6800 is mono, that true? Lastly is the screen on the 6800 bigger than the i760 and if so how much? I know that the phone hasn't come out yet and I know people have been getting all bent out of shape about people posting all these questions about a phone that isn't out yet (well the 6800 is but for other carriers) and I get it but since I can't get the phone yet we can still talk about it..
