Quick phone question

My friend lost his phone and Verizon sent him out a new one. After getting the new one he had found the one his originally thought he lost. Can I take it and have it activated to my number?

no you cant do it bc it is flagged as lost/stolen the personwho reported it would have to take it to the store and unflag it but since they sent another one out they would require himto return it or charge full price for it
