If VZW offers picture mail, to view, and respond on-line, then it's a possibility that someone may have sent it via web.

It has to be someone you know.

As long as you have an nai or ip address attached to the phone, I don't believe you need to have the service. Hackers, crackers, phishers, etc. can do a lot, without your password.

Your number and account may have changed, but your NAI/IP may have stayed the same. Possible inside job too.

yeah bc its not just my number hes getting this from either. he's been getting this from other phone numbers hes never seen before too recently. i saw him a couple of weeks ago and he was looking at my phone and he tried giving me his number and i refused to take it so we wouldnt see that happen again and he was surprised when i told him i changed my number bc he was still getting messages fromthat number. if my nai/ip was the same wouldnt it appear from my new number?

It could be traced. Also if your phone is Bluetooth (OBex) eneabled, he could of taken a picture from you, via Bluetooth.

Messages can be sent from the text and picture sites without anything but a phone number for a reply address. You do not have to sign up for anything. I could go on right now, choose a number at random as my reply address and send a message to someone I know. They will think it is from the person at the reply address. Unfortunately, there is nothing to stop this, but as far as proof goes for you and your boyfriend, the fact that you changed your number and someone is still doing it with your old, means that it is likely someone you "knew" and they don't know your number changed. That being said, maybe you should make your number private, because someone is out to sabotage you or your boyfriend's friend. It is more likely you though... sounds...

i can see how someone can believe it is someone doing this to me to sabatage me but none of his friends have my phone number bc the only time i talk to them is when we hang out and none of my friends have his friends numbers and none of his friends have my number so thank you for helping me and those are some great ideas. maybe someone had my number and i didnt realize it.

The EnV will transfer contacts and pictures [certain phones, only]. Three hours is way out of the range of Bluetooth file transfers. I believe that 30 feet is the maximum. If I'm wrong, please let me know.
