Best Verizon Phone?
Hey everyone. I'm kind of new to the whole cell phone world, and I'm trying to decide whether to become a verizon or cingular customer. I know cingular's reception sucks and all, but they have a pretty good selection of phones to choose from, whereas I'm not so impressed by Verizon's phone selections, even though I know it has excellent service. So, I was just wondering if some people could give me feedback on what they think I should do, or if some people could let me know which Verizon phones or phone they think is best. Thanks a bunch!

Really I want a Blackberry but would settle for most anything DECENT with Bluetooth, sorry that Motorola STUNK!
The buttons are horrid for sending text messages, you cant feel a response from hitting certains #'s
Anyone know what is going on?

I still have my 530 as its tiny and does everything most of the new phones do minus a camera which i dont need anyway.

The new Blackberries coming out will have Bluetooth, atleast the Nextel one does, but I am certain it will be for headset use only.

How do you know Cingular's reception sucks? Have you tried a phone on their system?

My mom has had cingular for YEARS. She's always called our house and it's so incredibly choppy when she calls. We can't even hear her or make out a single word of what she's saying. I never had that problem with my Virgin Mobile phone which runs off of Sprint's network. So just the experience I've had with cingular makes me think that it's a weak service.

depends on how much you want to spend.if you want a basic flip phone,try the samsung a650,works pretty good for it's funtion.you want alot of toys on your phone>?try get it now.go with the fofteen day garantee if you dont like it exchange it or return it.try some different models out.

I've tried just about all the Verizon models, and the best I've found is the Samsung A670. It's very solid and stylish. And it has great reception and call quality, which are the most important qualities it has. The color display is very nice. It has a camera on it, which I really want, but it takes pretty decent photos that make good wallpaper. The size is just right. I thought the Samsung A650 keypad was a bit too small for hands, which is why I opted for the A670, which has a larger keypad.
