It would be nice...

It would be nice if Verizon would add something extra to their plans to help with saving anytime minutes. They brag about their 62.1 million customers and unlimited IN Calling, however, my family isn't a part of that of that group. They use everything but Verizon.
Their network is excellent, and I have never had any problems with them, however, it would be nice to have a circle of friends like T-Mobile and Alltel offer. Anything extra would help.
I hated Cingular and T-Mobile when I used them, but that was before GSM. The people at work seem to be satisfied with AT&T, and as a mailman I deliver many AT&T and T-Mobile bills.

I doubt you're going to see anything like that anytime soon. VZW is doing well, and their customer loyalty is very high, best in the industry for like 3 years running now, I think. 😎

What I'd prefer they focus on is making their data plans and prepay more competitive. That is where they're lacking a bit.

Yeah, I've been with them for over 4 years now and have nothing to complain about. They are quick to make sure you're satisfied whenever you call them. I can't even remember the last dropped call I had. Everyone at work feels the same way about them too.

I totally agree. Data pricing and pricing in general should be the focus. I would also like to see a program where customers who pay a premium every month are allowed to upgrade earlier than normal. Furthermore, I think customers with certain monthly access should be allowed to upgrade earlier than other customers. Especially one's that use the data services.

The my circle and my faves and rollover are all a bunch of gimmicks. Maybe earlier night minutes or adding some mintues to the existing plans would be the way to go though.

Early upgrade is a current policy...

I see what you're saying, but I don't think that "my circle", or "my faves", are merely advertising gimmicks.
My sister has Alltel and her circle of friends saves her from burning up her anytime minutes. I myself would benefit from a circle of friends because 90% of my calling is to about 4-5 phone numbers.
It's not merely a gimmick to me. I wish that Alltel would enter the Indiana market.

I have never been under the impression that cell companies are looking to not make money fro their shareholders....

Okay, so 90% of your calls are to the same people. If they're all on VZW, there would be a win-win situation for everyone, not just you.

In calling is still the best bet for the company and the consumer. Simplfied billing. 60 million numbers vs. 5. It's a better business strategy.

That's great for the company. My family isn't "IN" so that does nothing for me. As I said before.

if all your family became "in" you would win and the company would win...what part did you not understand?

As I said in my original post. My family uses everything but Verizon. "IN" calling does nothing for me. They are not willing to switch either. They're satisfied with what they have, like I am.
