LG VX8350 Bad Battery Life!

I went to mobiledia.com and the standby time is worse then the 8700! THAT SUCKS!

The "stand by" time is still almost 9 days!

And talk time is almost 4 hours!


What do you want? A phone that never dies.

The battery life is fine on this phone.

stand by time 9 days?


how is that bad....compared to a stand by time of razr which was like 25 minutes i say that is awesome stand by.

don't read to much into those times anyway, i have never received battery life as stated by those. I will waite and see what it does in the real world

The battery life is worse then the 8700 and the 8700 does not have a good battery life at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is almost half the battery life of the 8300
...

That is a substantial drop from the 8300. I agree with you that sucks. I have noticed a trend in LG phones coming out with less and less actual battery life. Too bad, but I am more excited about the 8800 coming out yet this year.

It is almost half the battery life of the 8300

Unless you're pretty light user, talk time matters a lot more than standby time. And the talk time is close to the 8300's.

Also, I don't buy the batt life being worse than the 8700's, real-world. The 8700 has a 800 mAh battery, the 8350 has a 1000 mAh batt. And I believe the 8700 has a bigger screen too, which sucks the juice.

If it really bothers you, either go with the 8300 (what I'm currently using... and I can testify that the battery life IS really good, real-world), or go with the 8350 and get the exten...

Well, check out the 8350 at the store, and if it isn't the one, there's certainly plenty of other phones coming out between now and end-of-year.

And the LG VX10000 and 8800 are ones to look out for, either this December or Q1 '08.
