insurance question

ok every month i pay for insurance i told them i wanted the complete insurance and i found out today (3 months later) they signed me up for the wrong one. and they wont fix it. but either way i have the equiptment replacement insurance and warrenty still. and i called verizon to exchange my phone under warranty bc they do that and they wanted to send me hte same phone, the 6700 and all i want is a regular phone back. this one is too techy and wont let me send/recieve pics/flix. i justwant my old phone the enV. and they wont do it. i told htem i payed $70 for this phone and im just wanting to go back to myold phone and they dont have to refund me. and they wont do it. they want to send me the 6700. if they send me the enV it will save them $...

you do realize that this problem would occur no matter hat carrier you have. First off Asurian is not Verizon, that is a thrid party company so bring it up with them. Second, just ebay your 6700 the thing will fetch a pretty good penny and then just buy a 9900

well i want to do the extended warrenty not the insurance replacement. my phone isnt physically damaged.

Just ebay it, or hell just ask around, i would consider trading except i already sold my 9900 on ebay so that wouldn't work.

im tempted i tried to trade somebody on here and ppl kept saying it was stolen and i have my receipt and it only has like 6 hours talk time on it and i just dont use it. hopefully i can find an old phone to switch to and sell my 6700

So let me get this straight. You want Verizon to take your used phone and give you a brand new phone of your choice? AND, where are you getting your equipment prices from? They appear to be the 2 year pricing which is subsidized. At this point, this isn't a savings for Verizon. They would take your used phone that they can't do anything with and then give you a new phone. They are not saving 179, but losing the full retail cost of the equipment. This would be like buying an LCD TV, using it for about a year, then deciding you want plasma instead and asking the store to trade your used TV for a new plasma... in your thinking the store would be saving money because a plasma of the same size would be less expensive. Just another example of a customer that didn't read the fine print of their contract and review the terms and conditions in the Asurion brochure. 🙄

i read my terms and conditions and it said i could do a warrenty exchange i pay the insurance on it. it covers that. i know what im talking about besides that they have to do manufacturer warrenty exchanges too so u guys r the ones who dont know

You'll only receive the same phone,especially on one exchange.. I haf four Treo 700w/wx phones, and STILL couldn't get a different phone, so I went to someone else that would. [Not trolling, just putting my two cents in; so save the insults!]
